License Amendment Request (LAR) 17-05, Removal of the CAB HAT Network ISSP from LC.10 In accordance with 10 CFR 70.34, 10 CFR 70. 72, and 10 CFR 95.19, Louisiana Energy Services (LES), dba URENCO USA (UUSA), hereby requests approval of an amendment to Materials License SNM-2010 to delete License Condition 10.1 and requests decommissioning of the Hot Acceptance Testing (HAT) Network.
Materials License Condition 10.1 prescribes that UUSA will conduct authorized activities in accordance with the statements in the Information System Security Plan (ISSP) for the Hot Acceptance Test Computer System. As a result of UUSA nearing completion of construction activities in the Centrifuge Assembly Building (CAB) for the foreseeable future, the HAT computer system will no longer be necessary. provides the background, proposed change and basis for removal of the HAT ISSP from UUSA's license. Enclosure 1 contains Security-Related Information, and disclosure to the public could present security vulnerability. UUSA requests that this enclosure be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390( d)( 1 ). The Enclosure 2 affidavit supports this withholding request.
