COST BENEFICIAL LICENSING ACTIONS (CBLAs)
A meeting was held at NRC Headquarters on July 28, 1993, to discuss the Florida Power and Light (FPL) proposed program on CBLAs.
The licensee outlined its program and indicated that a submittal will be made in the September 1993 timeframe.
The first CBLA initiative is likely to be a
modification of the site access system utilizing biometrics.
In turn, the staff discussed the latest developments in the CBLA program.
