Mr. Kugh L. Thompson, Jr.,

who has recently-,become Di'rector, Division of Licensing, requested that each project ma'na'ger;'brief'h'im.on the status of their plants.

The licensee, Regions and'ther staff members were also invited to participate in the meeting.

A list of attendees is enclosed.

The project manager's presentation included a:. brief.description of the Turkey Point Plant, location, licensee organization'; p3'ant'status, hearings and other licensing activities.

An outline of the'pres'entation is enclosed.

The licensee's representatives provided additional details relating to the FPL organization and an overview of the facility and current activities.

Regional representatives participated via speaker-phone and provided comments on the facility status.

Subsequent to the initial presentations, scheduling, time required to complete licensing actions, priority of activities, problems. and areas where improvements could be implemented to enhance overall plant safety were discussed Mr. Thompson thanked all participants and indicated his interest in current and future licensing activities related to the Turkey Point Plant.

Ke further indicated his availability to all parties to assist in assuring all licensing activities receive proper and timely resolution.
