The Nuclear Regulatory ComIfssion (the Commissfon) has found that:
A.
The application for amendment by Florida Power and Light Company (the licensee) dated May 5, 1983, complies with the standards and reguirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act) and the Commission's rules and regulations set forth in 10 CFR Chapter I; B.
The facility will operate fn conformity with the application, the provisions of the Act, and the rules and regulations of the Comnfssfon; C
There fs reasonable assurance (f) that the actfvftfes authorized by thfs amendment can be conducted without endanilerfng the health and safety of the public. and (ff) that such actfvftfes will be conducted fn compliance wfth the Commfssfon's regulations; O.
The fssuance of this amendment will not be inimical to the comIon defense and security or to the health and safety of the publfc; and The issuance of this amendment fs in accor dance wfth 10 CFR Part 51 of the CoIImfssfon's regulations and all applicable requirements have been satfsffed.

Accordingly, the license is amended by changes to the Technical Specifications as indicated in the attachment to this license amendment, and paragraph 3.B of Facility Operating License
'Ao. DPR-31 is hereby amended to read as follows:

Technical S ecifications The Technical Specifications contained in Appendices A and B, as revised through Amendment No. 100, are hereby incorporated in the license.
The licensee shall operate the facility in accordance with the 'technical Specifications-3.
This license amendment is effective as of the date of its issuance.

4.1.1.2 Groundwater Pro ram Objective The purpose of this program is to evaluate the extent of salt water intrusion between the cooling canal system and the ground 'ater west of the canal system.
Specification This program shall involve monitoring of wells and surface pcints fc r te."p rature, v ater level ard conductivity (salinity).
The South Florida 4'a ter t"nagement District (SF'~HD) and the L~.S.G.S.
shall determine the adequacy of the schedule and the cortinued need for this monitoring program.
