Dear Ms. Lorian:
By letter dated September 26, 1983, you requested to be added to the service list for corresponde'nce and documents regarding the proposed spent fuel pool expansion for Turkey Point Units 3 and 4.
- Further, you requested to be informed of the criteria for the service list in the event you. did not meet the criteria.
The NRC policy relating to service lists is to include the regulated utility, legal firms representing the utility, specific state and local officials and parties or petitioners for leave to intervene.
You will note the people you referenced in your letter are members of legal firms representing Florida Power and Light Company and state or local officials. If in the future you become a party or petitioner for leave to intervene you will be placed on the service list for all correspondence and documents regarding the proposed spent fuel pool expansion for Turkey Point Units 3 and 4.
As you are aware, all correspondence or documents to and from the regulated utilities with the exception of classified, proprietory or sensitive safeguards information. are placed in the local public document rooms to be available. to all interested persons and all licensing actions are noticed in the Federal Register.
However, as previously stated in response to your initial request, I will notify you in a timely manor when the staff has received the detailed information and have completed Asar'valuations necessary for arriving at a preliminary significant hazards consideration for noticing in the Federal Register.
