Turkey Point Units 3 and 4 Docket Nos. 50-250 and 50-25 I Au mented Mana ement on Shift Pro ram Paragraph V.D.2 of the NRC order regarding Turkey Point Units 3 and 4 dated October I 9, I 987 requires FPL to provide a copy of the guidance document for the Management On Shift Program to the NRC.
FPL has prepared Turkey Point Nuclear Plant Procedure O-ADM-OI9, titled Management on Shift, to provide administrative instructions to management personnel on shift.
The instructions delineate the on shift program, guidelines, standards, policy clarifications and reporting requirements.
A copy of this procedure is attached in compliance with the requirements of the order.
The augmented management on shift program was initiated on Saturday, October 24, l987 as previously committed.
It is our judgement that the on shift program is in compliance with the requirements of the order.
Accordingly, it is our understanding that there are no further order associated restrictions preventing the units from entering Mode 2
(star tup) following the current maintenance ou tages.
Please advise us if you do not concur with our understanding of the implementation requirements of the order.
