June 8, 1981 ORDER (Vacatin Notice of Takin De ositions)
On June 4, 1981, the Intervenor served by mail a Notice of Taking Depositions.
The.notice indicated that on June 11, 1981 the Intervenors intended.'to take-.the deposii:ions-.-of::.two;:officers or. agents of the Licensee.
A Motion for a Protective Order under 10 CFR 52.740(c) was filed by the Licensee on June 5, 1981, asking that such depositions not be taken.
Our Memorandum,and Order entered'ay 28, 1981 granted summary disposition of all, contentions and terminated an evidentiary hearing originally scheduled to commence June 2,
1981.
In the February 23, 1981 Order Accepting Negotiated
- Schedule, the stipulated date for final discovery requests was April 15, with responses due not later than April 30.
The instant notice to take depositions was not issued pursuant to leave granted by the Board, and no motion was made by the Intervenor in that regard.

No good cause has been shown for any discovery at this time.
The information requested by the Board from all parties concerning the storage or disposition of low level solid waste generated during the repair of the steam generators, did not purport to establish or open any discovery period.
The Licensee's moti'on for a protective order is granted.
ORDER For the foregoing reasons and based upon a consideration of the entire record in this matter, it is this 8th day of June,
- 1981, ORDERED That the Intervenor's Notice of Taking Depositions on June 11, served on June 4, 1981, is vacated.
