or a t ona norma an.
Fforida Power and Light responses are good.
They generally +ye good bases.
SER's are not very extensive but usually adequate.
2.
Efforts in obtainin acce table res onses.
The Florida PGtver and Liight responses vary with the urgency.
LL2 and 737 responses have been timely.
However, routine reponses that are not vital to operation ar not urgently followed up are delayed.
They are adamant in not agreeing with staff positions at times (Fire Protection) but while arguing their point it turtl's out that they were also pursuing modifications vigorously.
3.
Technical corn etence, mana erial and o erational ca abilities, ualit assurance an o era ona contro erformance.
Florida Power and t.ight staff is competent but suffers from bureaucratic problems, i.e.,
my contact is licensing.
They go to power resources
'to contact the plant staff or to Enginedring for technical review~
Infor-mal responses tend to get lost unless urgent for plant operat)dh'l 4.
Morkin knowl ed e of requl ations,
- uides, standards and eneri c ositions.
Licensing is generally well aware of the regulations et al.
Recent changes in licensing contact (twice in one year) and in licensing manager ment have tended to dilute this capability.
