Dear 'Mr. Varga:

We have reviewed the Draft Environmental Impact-Statement(DEIS),relating to steam generator repair at Florida Power and Light's Turkey Point Nuclear Power Plant Units 3 and 4 and do not have any substantive comments to offer.

We believe that the replacement of steam generators is a normal operating procedure in a nuclear facility and as..such, does not require a separate EIS.

In this view we would suggest that future DEIS's addressing new nuclear fa-cilities expand their coverage to include replacement of steam generators.

We have rated the DEIS LO-l, that is, we do not have any significant environ-mental concerns with the project and we do not need any additional information.

Sincerely yours, ohn E. Hagan III Chief, EIS Branch
