~~if f/'ear Members'f the Board:
In accordance with previous correspondence, the parties and their.counsel met for approximately six (6) hours in Miami, Florida on January 26, 1981 to discuss, possible set-
- tlement, a schedule for the completion of the proceedings, and the discovery matters referred to in the Board's Mailgram.
No agreement was reached regarding settlement or the discovery matters.
With regard to the latter,"Mr. Oncavage will provide a letter to the parties by Monday, February 2,
1981 which describes in substantial detail the testing and monitoring which is proposed to be conducted including the
- names, addresses, and expert qualifications of the person(s)
- involved, so that the parties can discuss the site visit fur-ther.'r.
Oncavage will also indicate in that letter whether he wishes to pursue his request to inspect Plant Survey Reports.
No question, was raised with respect to Florida Power 6 Light Company's response to the request for production of the other documents.
A proposed schedule for the hearing was discussed.
Coun-sel for Dade County indicated it would. abide by the schedule agreed upon by the other parties as adopted by the Board.
Due to time deadlines, scheduling conflicts and other commit-
- ments, each of the other parties had a different preferred schedule.
- However, a number of compromises led to the de-velopment of the enclosed Proposed Schedule to which all parties agree.
We submit same to the Board for consideration and respectfully request that it be adopted by the Board.
