50-250 and 50-251 Draft Environmental Statement Related to Steam Generator Repair at Turkey Point Plant Units 3 and 4, Dade County, Florida Deaz Mr. Varga:
In accordance wi th the procedures contained in 36 C.F.R.,
Part 800 ("Procedures for the Protection of Historic and "Cultural Properties" ),
we have reviewed the above referenced proj ect for possi hie impact to archaeologi cal and hi stori cal sites or properties listed, or eligible for listing, in the National Register of Historic Places.
The authorities for these procedures are the National Historic Preservati on Act of 1966 (Public Law 89-665) as amended by P.L.91-243, P.L.
93-54, P. L.94-422, and P.L.94-458, and Presidential Executive Order 11593
("Protection and Enhancement of'he Cultural Environment" ).
Because of the nature of the project, i t is the opinion of thi s office that no sites listed, or eligible for listing, in the National Register of Hi'stori c Pl'a'Ces, or otherwise of national, state, or 1 ocal significance will be affected.
