01e.have been advised recently by Nr. Robert-Pollard, a specialist in nuclear reactor safety, that there are many unresolved safety questions regarding Florida Power 8c Light Co.'s announced plans to repair the steam generators in 2 of its nuclear reactors Turkey Point
¹3 and N's an interested party, we would like to be informed immediately when a decision is reached regarding the advisability and legality of such plans, and the reasons for. the decision reached.'i In view of the fact that 'technical questions of a controversial nature do not always come to public attention via the Federal Register, and in view of the fact that a lay-person would not consider such'matters controversial unless and until a specialist advised him or her thusly, we would like to request a public hearing on the proposed repairs/replacements etc, to be held. as soon as possible, Ne also request that we be advised any time FP&L requests an amendment to its licensing for any of its nuclear facilities, cc Bu e'..~~.
