LICENSE AMENDMENT REQUEST TO REMOVE FIRE PROTECTION REQUIREMENTS FROM THE UNIT 1 AND UNIT 2 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS REQUEST FOR ADDITIONALINFORMATION This letter is in response to your request for additional information regarding applicable, prior Fire Protection Safety Evaluation Reports (SERs) for a license amendment to the technical specifications (T/Ss) for Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant units 1 and 2.
This proposed amendment (AEP:NRC:0692CX dated June 20, 1995),
would remove the requirements for fire protection systems from the licenses and the T/Ss in accordance with the provisions and guidance of generic letters (GLs) 86-10, 88-12, and 93-07.
The attachment contains the technical specification pages for units 1
and 2 with references to the appropriate safety evaluation reports we have received, as discussed and requested by your staff.
