DPR-58 and DPR-74 COMPLETION OF COMMITMENTS REGARDING GENERIC LETTER 93-04, "ROD CONTROL SYSTEM FAILURE AND WITHDRAWAL OF ROD CONTROL CLUSTER ASSEMBLIES" In our letter AEP:NRC:1190B, dated January 12, 1995, we committed to implement current order timing modifications and surveillance tests on the rod control systems for Cook Nuclear Plant units 1
and 2.
- Also, we committed to inform you upon successful
'mplementation of the modifications and test:ing.
Both of these commitments were made in response to your December 5,
- 1994, request for additional information regarding Generic Letter 93-04.
This letter is to inform you that implementation of the current order timing modifications and current order surveillance tests have been completed in both units.
The unit 1 current order timing modifications were completed September 9,
- 1995, and successfully tested October 21, 1995.
The current order timing modifications for unit 2
were completed March 31,
- 1996, and successfully tested May 6, 1996.
