TO REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION (TAC NOS.

In our letter AEP:NRC:1192 dated June 13,

1994, Indiana Michigan Power Company proposed revisions to the Emergency Plan for the Donald C. Cook Nuclear Power Plant that would incorporate Emergency Action Levels (EALs) based on the guidance provided in NUMARC/NESP-

007, Rev.

2, Methodology for Devel opment of Emergency Action Levels.

In accordance with the requirements of 10CFR50.47(e) and 10CFR50 Appendix E, the proposed revisions were submitted to the NRC for review and approval prior to implementation.

By letter dated November 22,

1994, the NRC staff requested additional information related to the proposed EALs and associated technical basis document.

Attached to this letter are responses to the NRC request for additional information.

We are conducting a

graded exercise of our Emergency Plan on May 9, 1995.

We will implement the new EALs after that date.

We remain available to answer any additional questions that the NRC staff may have.
