REDUCED SCOPE NRC INSPECTION FOR SERVICE WATER SYSTEM OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE INSPECTION (SWSOPI)

Dear Hr. Fitzpatrick:

This letter is to notify you that the NRC will be conducting a reduced scope service water system operational performance inspection (SWSOPI) in lieu of the extensive inspection required by NRC Temporary Instruction 2515/118.

This reduced scope inspection is contingent upon your completion of the extensive self-assessment of the service water system which is scheduled to be conducted at the D.

Cook Plant and American Electric Power Offices from February 28 to Hay 1, 1995.

The in-process assessment would be observed and evaluated by two Region III inspectors with a contractor assisting in the final review.
