CRDM REACTOR VESSEL HEAD PENETRATION ASSESSMENT
Dear Mr. Fitzpatrick:
By letter dated October 26,
- 1994, you provided an assessment of crack indications identified in Unit 2 head penetration 75.
The staff has completed a preliminary review of your assessment and concluded that there is adequate margin for one 18-month cycle of operation.
It is our understanding that another inspection will be performed at the next outage with appropriate corrective actions to be determined at that time.
Our detailed Safety Evaluation of your assessment will be forwarded to you at a later date.
