End of core life power coastdown program continued in preparation for the cycle 9 to 10 refueling outage.
Coastdown was completed on 940906 at 0317.
The unit was removed from service on 940906 at 0318 hours0.00368 days <br />0.0883 hours <br />5.257936e-4 weeks <br />1.20999e-4 months <br /> EDT for the cycle 9 to 10 refueling/maintenance outage.
The unit exited this reporting period in Mode 6 at 0> RTP.
There were no challenges to the pressurizer safety valves or power operated relief valves.
Gross Electrical generation for the month of September was 53990 MWH.
DETAILS 9-6-94 0317 0318 Tripped Main Turbine at 7.5% RTP.
Output breakers opened manually due to limit switch failure.
0348 Tripped Reactor at 1.2% RTP; entered Reactor Mode 3.
9-7-94 0535 1708 2358 0718 Commenced RCS Degas.
Began RCS cooldown and depressurization.
Entered Reactor Mode 4.
Commenced RCS cooldown to Reactor Mode 5.
1240 Entered Reactor Mode 5.
9-9-94 1535 Made a four hour report to the NRC due to as found leakage for 2-NS-357 exceeding T.S. 3.6.1.2 Local Leak Rate Test.
9-10-94 9-13-94 0111 2348 Commenced RCS Cooldown and Depressurization.
