Dear Mr. Russell:
We hereby withdraw our request for a technical specification (T/S) change to Cook Nuclear Plant Unit 1 Steam Generator Tube Plugging
- criteria, submitted in our letter AEP:NRC:1166 dated March 20, 1991.
This T/S change request proposed, beginning with Unit 1 Cycle 13, a 4-volt bobbin coil alternate plugging criterion that we are confident would assure continued safe operation of the Unit 1
We subsequently requested and have received interim Unit 1 steam generator tube plugging criteria for both Cycles 13 and 14 '
separate T/S change request for steam generator tube plugging
- criteria, applicable beyond Cycle 14, will be submitted in the future.
Such a request may incorporate either interim plugging criteria or alternate plugging criteria, depending upon the nature and availability of accepted industry standards at that time.
