D. Reynnells (616) 465-5901 Oct. 8, 1993 Page 1 of 1 MONTHLY OPERATING ACTIVITIES SEPTEMBER 1993 HIGHLIGHTS The unit entered the reporting period in Mode 1 at 100 4 RTP.

On September 10, 1993 reactor power was reduced to 554 RTP to establish system conditions required to support "Clamtrol" treatment of circulating water and service water systems for zebra mussels.

Reactor power was restored to 1004 RTP on September 14, 1993.

The unit exited this reporting period in Mode 1 at 100 4 RTP.

There were no challenges to the pressurizer safety valves or power operated relief valves.

Gross Electrical generation for the month of August was 707030 MWH.

DETAILS 09-04-93 09-10-93 0133 Commenced reactor power decrease to 90< RTP for turbine valve testing.

0430 Reactor power is at 904 RTP.

1120 Commenced reactor power increase to 1004 RTP.

1325 Reactor power is at 100% RTP.

1906 Commenced reactor power decrease to 554 RTP to support Clamtrol Treatment for zebra mussel control.
