Dear Mr. Carteaux:
The purpose of this letter is to inform you of the individual examination results for your applicants on the initial examination conducted August 23-27,
- 1993, by my staff at your facility.
This meets the intent of Section E.l of the Examiner Standards (ES-501) in NUREG 1021.
This information.is considered to be "proprietary" in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790, and it supplements the information contained in the related examination report for your facility which will be issued shortly.
Enclosure 1 is,the completed ES-501-2, Power Plant Licensing Examination Results Summary,-
and is a summary of overall examination results.
Five reactor operators and two senior reactor operators passed all portions of the examinations, and two senior reactor operators failed the simulator portion of the operating tests.
Enclosure 2 contains the individual results, Operator License Examination
- Report, ES-303-1, and 303-2 if applicable, for each applicant.
Enclosure 3
consists of ES-401-1, written examination and answer sheets for each applicant.
Contained therein are the deficiencies noted for each applicant.
In accordance with your Systems Approach to Training (SAT) Program, we expect that you will review these results and provide appropriate remedial training for these individuals independent of their overall pass status.
Each applicant has authorized the release of this information to your facility by signing Block 19A of NRC Form 398.
Copies of licenses issued for those who passed the examination are included as Enclosure 4.
A copy of the letters to the individuals who did not pass the examination is also included.
