In accordance with t1r. Eisenhut's letter of August 7, 1981,(Generic Letter 81-29), 1 am foriiarding you the following schedule of examinations oi t e remainder of calendar year 1981 and for 1982.

I'm aware from our telephone conversation that you requested I send this information to Nr, Hcllillan in Region III. However, as. directed in t1r.

Eisenhut's letter, I'm forwarding this information to you with a copy to Hr. HcHillan.

The following information is not firm on license dates and simulator examination dates at this time; these are only estimates. As in the past, tentative scheduling of examinations is done with your examiners and myself up to apprnximately a year in advance. Examination schedule dt;tes and the number of personnel for the examinations is scheduled approximately three months prior to the examination dates. If you require more exact scheduling earlier than this, I can attempt i,t, but due to plant work load and NRC examiner work loads, this has been felt to be fruitless.

Examinations scheduled for the remainder of this year (1981) are as, follows:

9-11 people will be taking the Reactor Operator examination.

4-6 Reactor Operators will be taking the Senior Reactor Operator examina t i on ..

Written and oral examinations are scheduled for the week of December 14, 1981.

Simulator examinations are scheduled for December 21, 22, and 23, 1981, using the Westinghouse SNUPPS simulator locategljng, IilCH. POVIFR CO.

4-6 Reactor Operators will be taking the Senior Reactor. Operator examinations approximately the week of April 26, 1982 (written and oral).

Simulator examinations are tentatively scheduled for Hay 3 through May 7, 1982, using the westinghouse SNUPPS simulator.

10-12 people will be taking the Reactor Operator examinations and 4-6 Reactor Operators will be taking the Senior Reactor Operator examinations approximately the week of December 13 (written and orals),

Simulator exa,n'nations for these groups are tentatively scheduled for December l8 through December 22, 1982, using the t/estinghouse SNUPPS simulator.

Again, let me reiterate that this is only a tentative schedule, not exact or firm. Examination dates will be worked out between the NRC examiners and myself enough in advance for exact planning..
