Dear Mr. Denton:

This letter responds to Mr.

W. 0. Miller's letter of December 12, 1980 concerning th'e payment of a processing fee to the Commission for our AEP:NRC:00040 submittal, dated June, 22, 1978.

The submittal transmitted to the NRC a report entitled "Westinghouse Reactor Protection System/

Engineered Safety Features Actuation System Setpoint Methodology".

Submittal of said report was required by Condition 2.C(3)(n) of Facility Operating License. No.

DPR-74 for the Donald C.

Cook Nuclear Plant Unit No. 2.

Mr. Miller states in his letter that ONRR has determined that a

Class III fee of $4,000.00 is applicable to our AEP:NRC:00040 submittal as per the provisions of 10 CFR 170.22.
