Davis:'his letter is to inform you that we are submitting, the exercise scenario for the June 30,
- 1993, Donald C.
Cook Nuclear Plant Emergency Preparedness Exercise to Mr. J.
W. McCormick-Barger, Emergency Preparedness Section.
This action is being taken in accordance with your March 16, 1987, letter and I.E. Information Notice 85-55:
"Revised Emergency Exercise Frequency Rule."
As stated in our April 1, 1993, letter to you, the June 30, 1993, exercise willbe a full scale exercise.
The State of Michigan and Berrien County will participate to demonstrate specific plume exposure pathway objectives.
It is intended to conduct the exercise using the Unit 2 simulator and the simulated Technical Support Center in the Cook Nuclear Training Center.
The attachment comprises the complete exercise scenario package with all controller information and simulation data, including plant data, radiation level data, and release rate data.
The information is presented here for NRC review and will serve as a
back-up in the event of simulator equipment problems.
