Dear Mr. Denton:
This letter responds to Mr. Steven A. Varga's letter of October 31, 1980 which we received on November 6, 1980 and which requires a
resubmittal of the Contingency Plan for Donald C.
Cook Nuclear Plant within 30 days.
Due to the nature of the information requested and the extensive amount of work involved with changing our format to that of Regulatory Guide 5.54, a 45 day extension is hereby requested.
The security of Cook Plant is not adversely affected by this extension
- because, as Mr. Varga's letter states, the resubmittal is primarily one in which our, contingency plan is to be reformatted.
Therefore, we trust that you will grant this needed extension.
