ATTACHMENT TO AEP:NRC:00482 Environmental uglification Testin Pro rams AEP is currently involved in the following four environmental qualification testing programs.

Three of these programs are not under the direction of AEP.

1. 'tilityTransmitter gualification Program - This program involves the participation of various utilities with Wisconsin Electric Power directing the program.

The testing is being performed at Wyle Laboratories.

The testing schedule is known to the NRC due to the various presentations made to them regarding these programs.

Applicable equipment for Cook Plant are flow trans-

-mitters (Foxboro Model N-E13DM-H-I-Ml-D) as auxiliary feedwater flow indicators FFI-210, 220, 230 and 240 in both Units.

'2.

3.

Environmental and Seismic gualification of the TEC Valve Flow Monitor System.

This program is directed by Technology for Energy Corp.

and being performed at various test facilities.

We believe that the testing schedule for this program is known to the NRC due to presentations to them on this topic.

The applicable equipment for both Cook Units is the pressurizer relief and safety valve direct position indication acoustic monitoring system (gR-107).

Lot verification of Barton transmitters being supplied by Westinghouse and Barton for the Reactor Vessel Level System and Containment Level System, respectively.

The details of this program are not available at this time.

Environmental qualification of Mercoid Corporation pressure switch models DAW-7033-153 (Range

7) and DSW-7233-153 (Range 5).

This program is under the direction of AEP and will be conducted at Acton Test Laboratory, Acton, MA.

No testing schedule is available at this time.

If qualified, the DAW-7033 switches will be installed in the Essential Service Water System (WPS-701, 705 (Unit 1) and WPS-70Z, 706 (Unit 2)) and the DSW-7233 switches will be installed

,in the Auxiliary Feedwater System.
