MONTHLY OPERATING ACTIVITIES FEBRUARY 1993 HIGHLIGHTS The unit entered the reporting period in Mode 1 at 1004 RTP.

On 02-12-93 reactor., power was reduced to 574 RTP to accommodate the removal of one main feed pump from service at a time for planned maintenance activities.

The Unit was returned to 100%

RTP 02-17-93.

The unit exited this reporting period in Mode 1 at 100~

RTP.

There were no challenges to the pressurizer safety valves or power, operated relief valves.

Gross Electrical generation for the month of February was 657620 MWH.

DETAILS 02-12-93 1500 Commenced reactor power decrease to remove the west main feed pump from service.

2210 Stabilized reactor power at 57% RTP.

02-14-93 1240 West main feed pump in service, east main feed pump removed from service.

02-16-93 1713 Placing east main feedpump in service.

1925 Commenced reactor power increase.

02-17-93 0445 Stopped reactor power increase at 86:

RTP due to a problem with a turbine auxiliary cooling water system valve.

1048 Commenced reactor power increase.
