Dear Dr. Murley:
This letter provides you a revision to the schedule for upgradeq resulting from the Cook Nuclear Plant Units 1 and 2 detailed control room design review (DCRDR).
This information updates our DCRDR Summary Report that was previously submitted in our letter AEP:NRC:0773V dated December 30,
- 1986, and subsequent revisions.
We are pleased to advise you that the physical installation of all except one checklist observations/human engineering deficiencies (CLO/HED) items are complete.
Thirty-one (31) design changes and 257 enhancements have been accomplished.
The one exception is the P-250 plant process computer replacement (CLO/HED 7.1-1), which was to have been completed during the Unit 2 outage planned for the fourth quarter of 1991.
That outage will now begin in the first quarter of 1992 and, consequently, completion of this item willbe accomplished during that outage.
This document has been prepared following Corporate procedures that incorporate a reasonable set of controls to ensure its accuracy and completeness prior to signature by the undersigned.
