1 AND 2 NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL OF APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE 7590-01 The United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has granted the request of Indiana Michigan Power Company (the licensee) to withdraw its January 15, 1991, application for proposed amendments to Facility Operating License Nos.
DPR-58 and DPR-74 for the Donald C.
Cook Nuclear Plant, Unit Nos.
1 and 2, located in Berrien County, Michigan.
The proposed amendments would have, in part, revised Technical Specification (TS) 4.8. l. 1.2.e.2, adding the words "steady state" to the acceptance criteria for the emergency diesel generator load rejection test.
The Commission had previously issued a Notice of Consideration of Issuance of Amendment published in the FEDERAL REGISTER on February 6,
1991 (56 FR 4866).
- However, by letter dated November 4, 1991, the licensee withdrew the proposed change.
Portions of the requested changes had been granted on April 10, 1991 with Amendments 155 and 139 for Units 1 and 2, respectively.
For further details with respect to this action, see the application for amendment dated January 15, 1991, and the licensee's letter dated November 4, 1991, which withdrew the application for license amendments.
