This letter refers to the inspection
conducted
by Hr.
G.
H.
Hausman
and
other
NRC representatives
of this office during July 29 - August 2,
1991.
The purpose of the inspection
was to review your implementation of commitments
pertaining to Regulatory
Guide
(RG) 1.97 at the Donald
C.
Cook Nuclear Plant,
Units
1 and 2.
At the conclusion of the inspection,
we discussed
our
inspection findings with Hr. A. A. Blind and others of your staff.
The enclosed
copy of our inspection report identifies areas
examined during
the inspection.
Within these
areas,
we selectively
examined
procedures
and
representative
records,
made observations,
and conducted
interviews with your
personnel.
We did not identify any violations of NRC requirements
during the inspection.
In accordance
with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's
regulations,
we are
sending
a copy of this letter
and the enclosed
inspection report to the
NRC
Public Document
Room.
