Dear Dr. Murley:
In compliance with 10 CFR 26.73(d),
Fitness for Duty Programs, this letter certifies that a fitness for duty program has been implemented for all personn'el who have unescorted access to the Donald C.
Cook Nuclear Plant and for all other personnel specified in the regulation.
This letter also serves as notice that we have adopted more stringent cut-off levels for the presence of marijuana metabolites.
Such metabolites shall be initially screened for a cut-off level of 50 ng/ml.
We have also added controlled substances, barbiturates and benzodiazepines to the panel of drugs for which we are testing.
We shall screen for barbiturates and benzodiazepines at a cut-off level of 300 ng/ml.
This document has been prepared following Corporate procedures that incorporate a reasonable set of controls to ensure its accuracy and completeness prior to signature by the undersigned.
