Dear Dr. Murley:
The purpose of this letter is to request an extension for performing the action items and providing the written reports specified by NRC Bulletin No. 88-10.
This request is necessary since recent information is causing us to reevaluate the acceptability of the documentation used to verify the traceability of molded-case circuit breakers being maintained as stored spares for future use in safety-related applications.
We are continuing our evaluation and propose to provide a response to the bulletin by May 16, 1989.
This document has been prepared following corporate procedures which incorporate a reasonable set of controls to ensure its accuracy and completeness prior to signature by the undersigned.
