COOK Transmitted herewith is the inspection report which provides documentation of our inspectioIl activities with the NRC mobile nondestructive testing laboratory at D.C.
Cook Nuclear Power Pla'nt Unit 1.
Two violations were identified and one unresolved item.
One of the violations involved use of an inadequate radiography technique that failed to identify unacceptable defects in a steam generator shell girth weld.
The second violation i,nvolved the licensee's failure to identify unacceptable linear surface indications during liquid penetrant examination of a steam generator nozzle weld.
- Also, an unresolved item regarding a radiographic indication in a steam generator nozzle was identified.
