Cook Nuclear Plant was rated in the bottom 20 percent based on NRC examination results and their scores.

I had reason to believe the reported scores were incorrect based on ongoing discussions between the licensee and the Region III examiners.

The test scores were revised after these discussions and are included in the attached letter from the licensee dated April 14, 1986.

Inasmuch as the data and findings in your April 2, 1986, memo have found their way into the public domain and are forming the basis for NRC spokesmen ratings of plants, you may wish to revise your data for D.
