Dear Mr. Denton:
This letter confirms the telephone conservation with Mr.- D. L. Wigginton of your staff on September 10, 1984.
As discussed, we will be submitting our Xntegrated Leak Rate Test (ILRT) Report, which concluded on June 16, 1984, approximately four months after the conduct of the test.
10 CFR 50, Appendix J,Section V.
B requires the ILRT Report to be submitted approximately three months after the conduct of the test.
Certain concerns related to the validity of the supplemental verification portion of the XLRT were raised by NRC Region XXX and required extensive discussions and re-evaluations.
Therefore, we agreed the submittal of the ILRT Report should be delayed until these concerns have been resolved.
Concurrent with the re-evaluations, we discovered an incorrect conversion factor for the supplemental test data.
Accordingly, we revised the data reduction for the supplemental test.
The revised data reduction was transmitted to NRC Region III in letter AEP:NRC:0901, dated September 21, 1984.
Assuming Region III accepts the results of the revised data reduction, we now expect to submit the subject ILRT Report by October 19, 1984.
