AEP:NRC:00095 Please be advised that the Westinghouse Electric Corporation has transmitted the following documents to you under separate cover (Westinghouse letter NS-THA-2120, dated September 14, 1979):
1.
Forty (40) copies of a proprietary report entitled "Supplemental qualification Testing of Barton Lot 1
Pressure and Differential Pressure Transmitters".
2.
Twenty (20) copies of the non-proprietary version of this same report.
The NRC letter from Hr. J.
F. Stolz to Hr'. T.
M. Anderson of Westinghouse dated Hay 15, 1979 presented the Staff's evaluation of the Westinghouse qualification tests on the Barton Lot 1 transmitters as reported in Westinghouse's letter No. NS-THA-1950 dated September 29, 1978 (Reference 3).
This evaluation letter requested additional confirmatory tests to demonstrate that the Lot 1 transmitters met all of their design specification requirements.
In response, Westinghouse proposed to the Staff a supplemental test program as described in letter No.
NS-TMA-2103 dated June 21, 1979.
The Westinghouse report attached to letter No.
NS-TMA-2120 contained the results of this program.
