Dear Mr. Davis:
This letter is to advise you of a schedule change for the Donald C.
Cook Nuclear Plant 1989 Emergency Preparedness Exercise from April ll, 1989, to September 20, 1989.
Mr. V. G. Snell (NRC) concurred with the September 20 date in a telephone conversation with Ms. L. M. Bounds (AEP) on December 16, 1988.
The 1989 exercise will not involve participation of outside agencies;
- however, emergency preparedness officials of the state of Michigan have been contacted and indicate that there are no conflicts with this date.
It is our intention to submit the 1989 Emergency Plan Exercise Scope and ObJectives no later than June 22,
- 1989, 90 days prior to the exercise, and to submit the complete exercise scenario package no later than July 21,
- 1989, 60 days prior to the exercis'e.
This document has been prepared following Corporate procedures that incorporate a reasonable set of controls to ensure its accuracy and completeness prior to signature by the undersigned.
