In our submittal AEP:NRC:0894I dated June 26, 1987 we submitted the Reactor Vessel Material Surveillance Reports for the Donald C.
Cook Nuclear Plant Unit No.
2.
That report was prepared. by
.Southwest Research Institute (SWRI) based on the test. results for Capsule X.
The current T/S heat-up and cooldown curves are based on Capsule Y test results.
As shown in Figures 11 and 12 of the SWRI report, the difference in data between the test results of Capsule X and Capsule Y is negligible'ince the Capsule Y
results are slightly more conservative than the Capsule X results, we intend to operate the plant within the bounds of the existing technical specification curves and are not planning to seek a
technical specifications change.
This document has been prepared following Corporate procedures which incorporate a reasonable set of controls to ensure its accuracy and completeness prior to signature by the undersigned.
