Dear Ms. Chen:
By letter dated September 8, 2017 [1], Holtec submitted responses to the NRC staffs requests for additional information. Subsequent discussions with NRC staff indicated that supplemental information would be useful for finishing the review. This letter contains the supplemental information as Attachment 1, and in a non-proprietary version as Attachment 2.
Additionally, for ease of the staffs review, this letter contains versions of the HI-STORM 100 CoC and FSAR (Attachments 3 through 5) with all changes from the initial submittal, RSIs, RAIs, and the current supplement marked using track changes. This package should provide a complete summary of all of the changes related to Amendment 11 for the staff to complete their review.
Attachments 6, 7, and 8 contain proprietary supporting references. Attachment 9 contains an affidavit prepared in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 requesting that the proprietary attachments be withheld from public disclosure.
