This letter is in response to your staff's request to confirm the status of Generic Letter (GL) 83-28, Items 3.2.1 and 3.2.2 (Post Maintenance Testing).
The AEPSC Engineering review of D.
C.
Cook maintenance procedures for Post Maintenance Testing has been completed.
A review by the Plant Staff indicates that 97 percent (289) of the affected procedures have had the post maintenance testing enhancements incorporated or did not require revision.
The remaining three percent (9) of the affected procedures are on administrative hold and cannot be used until the post maintenance testing enhancements are incorporated.
The remaining procedures will have the post maintenance testing enhancements incorporated by Decembor 1,
1987.
Based on the above we believe that we have met the requirements of Generic Letter 83-28, Items 3.2.1 and 3.2.2 (Post Maintenance Testing).
