On September 16, 1986, representatives of Westinghouse Electric Corporation and the American Electric Power Service Corporation (AEPSC) made a
presentation to members of your staff.
The purpose of the presentation was to discuss justification for continued operation of the D.
C.
Cook Nuclear Plant Unit No.
2 as well as our plans regarding steam generator repair.
The purpose of this letter is to transmit, in response to a request by members of your staff, the slides used during.that presentation.
Attachment 1
to this letter contains copies of the slides presented by representatiyes of AEPSC.
Attachment 2 contains copies of slides without proprietary information, presented by representatives of Westinghouse.
Attachment 3
contains Westinghouse slides with Westinghouse proprietary information.
We respectfully request that Attachment 3 be withheld from the Public Document
- Room, as discussed by Westinghouse in their letter NS-NRC-86-3164 (E.
P.

a copy of which is included in that attachment.
