This letter serves to transmit one copy of the Updated Quality Assurance Program Description for the Donald C.
Cook Nuclear Plant (QAPD).
This document will be contained in the 1986 FSAR update to be submitted in accordance with 10CFR50.71.
The July 1986 QAPD update does not contain any changes to our existing QA Program nor do the revisions therein constitute a reduction in any previous QA Program commitments.
Each revision is an enhancement of the description of our existing QA Program.
Attachment A to this letter identifies those sections of the QAPD that have been revised in the 1986 update.
In addition, these revisions have been further identified by right hand margin bars in the QAPD.
We are prepared to discuss any additional concerns or comments your staff may have.
