Dear Nr. Denton:
Enclosed are five copies of the Exxon Nuclear Company technical report XN-NF-85-68(P), Revision 1,
entitled "Donald C.
Cook Unit 2 Limiting Break LOCA/ECCS Analysis, 10% Steam Generator Tube Plugging and K(z)
Curve," which supports operation of the D.C.
Cook Unit 2 Nuclear Plant.
At the request of American Electric Power Service Company (AEPSC), this report is being transmitted directly by Exxon Nuclear.
This revision reflects changes which have been made to the reflood correlation used in the analysis.
The reflood correlations were developed by Exxon Nuclear based on the Exxon Nuclear Fuel Cooling Test Facility data.
The changes in the reflood correlation were made to resolve NRC concerns which arose during the review of these correlations.
Verbal approval has been received from the NRC reviewer to use these correlations as modified.
Exxon Nuclear Company considers information contained in the enclosed technical report to be proprietary.
