Dear Mr. Denton:
We ar e hereby withdrawing our request for the Technical Specification changes addressed in our letter AEP:NRC:0893, dated May 25, t98I1.
Specif1cally, we had requested changes to allow certain operations in MODES 3 and I1 with only one OPERABLE battery.
Consistent w1th the requirements of 10 CFR 50.91(b)(1),
a copy of this letter is being transmitted to Mr. R.
C. Callen of the Michigan Public Service Comm1ssion.
