OF hlEETING HELD ON APRIL 27, 1982 TO DISCUSS THE RADIOLOGICAL ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS (RETS)
Back round Indiana and Michigan Electric Co. (IMEC) submitted RETS for the above units in 1979.
A contractor
( FRC) was selected to review the submittals for the
- NRC, The contractor compared the submittals to the standard technical.
specifications and prepared a detailed comparison for the facilities.
Meetin Summar Guidance for the meeting had been provided in a note to E. A. Smarrella dated April 12, 1982, along with detailed comparison documents on RETS and Offsite Dose Calculations for D.
C. Cook.
The meetings were conducted by reviewing these documents item by item and explaining the staff positions in each case.
Most of the differences were resolved during the meeting, however IMEC had to consider some changes in greater detail and these items were left open.
Future Actiork Open items will be considered in more detail by IhlEC and resolved with FRC by phone.
IMEC will resubmit the RETS to NRC in the resolved form.
FRC will review the resubmitted RETS and report the results to NRC.
Tar et Dates The meeting was held in the administration offices of the D. C. Cook plant site near Bridgeman, hlichigan.
