Dear Mr. Denton:
Enclosed herein are three attachments which describe proposed changes to the current Appendix B
Environmental Technical Specifications.
This submittal is made to meet the Commission's suggestion to adopt a Standard Environmental Protection Plan for our facility.
The existing Radiological Surveillance Requirements of the Appendix B Technical Specifications. are retained with minor. changes made for clarification purposes.
Attachments 1
and 2
to this submittal indicate.the changes and the comparison with the existing Technical Specification, respectively.
Attachment 3 to this submittal contains the proposed Environmental Tecainical Specifications, Part" I '"- '"
Radiological, and the Environmental Protection
- Plan, Part II Non-Radiological.
Both the AEPSC Nuclear Safety Design Review Committee (NSDRC) and the Plant Nuclear Safety Review Committee (PNSRC) have reviewed and approved the proposed changes.
In accordance with 10CFR 170.22, a
fee of four thousand four hundred dollars
($4,400) for a Class III, plus a Class I Amendment to the Plant's Technical Specifications is hereby submitted.
Your immediate attention is requested towards the approval of this submittal.
