This letter transmits five (5) controlled copies of the new Training and gualification Plan for security personnel at Donald C.
Cook Nuclear Plant.
This re-submitta'1 is made in response to Mr. S. A. Varga's letter of May 6, 1981 for which we requested a 60-day extension until September 10, 1981 by our letter AEP:NRC:0569A dated June 30, 1981.
The new plan is based on NRC guidance documents issued after the submittal of our original plan.
We believe that this new plan contains all the information required by Appendix B to 10 CFR 73.
Upon approval of this T8g Plan by the NRC, it will become Appendix B to our approved Modified Amended Security Plan (MASP) and the existing Appendix B to the HASP will be re-numbered as Appendix A.
In addition, as stated in our letter AEP:NRC:0569A, we will delete pages 1-9 through 1-17 of the MASP pursuant to Mr. S. A. Varga's request.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790, it is requested that the enclosures to this letter be withheld from public disclosure and not placed in the Public Document Room.
