This letter responds to IE Bulletin
. 81-01, "Surveillance of Mechanical Snubbers',"
which was transmitted to us by your letter dated 27 January 1981.
A thorough review of the safety-related snubbers installed at the Cook Plant has been performed.
As a result of this review it has been determined that mechanical snubbers are not installed on safety-related systems at the Cook Plant.
- Hence, no further actions are planned with regard to the subject Bulletin.
As requested in the Bulletin, this letter is being submitted under Oath and Affirmation.
1 Indiana 8 Michigan Electric Company interprets 10 CFR 170.22 as requiring that no fee accompany this submittal.
