Dear Mr. Keppler:
We have reviewed IE Bulletin 80-23 entitled, "Failures of Solenoid Valves Manufactured by Valcor Engineering Corporation",
and have concluded that no Valcor solenoid valves are used in a Class 1E application in the Donald C.
Cook Nuclear Plant.
Therefore, no additional action in response to the concerns of the Bulletin is being taken.
In responding to this Bulletin, we expended a total manpower ef.ort of 70 manhours for engineering analysis and management review.
