This letter responds to your letter of June 27, 1980 transmitting IE Bulletin No. 80-16 entitled, "Potential Misapplication of Rosemount Inc. Models 1151 and 1152 Pressure Transmitters with Either
'A'r
'D'utput Codes."
Me received your letter on July 1, 1980.
A review of our faci.lity with respect to the installation of Rosemount Inc. Model 1151 or 1152 pressure transmitters with output codes "A" or "D" has revealed that no transmitters of the type described are currently installed nor planned for future installation in safety-related applications.
Our review did reveal, however, that the NSSS supplier had purchased a total of eight (8) Model 1151 pressure or differential pressure transmitters for use during unit startup to indicate low-range Main Feedwater System flow, a non-safety related application, and that these transmitters are not of the "A" or "D"
output code type.
Therefore, no further actions or corrective actions are required as a result of our review.
